Excited to announce we'll be sitting at table 170 in the COMIXOLOGY MARQUEE in Leeds Millenium Square at Thought Bubble this weekend, we're right by an entrance, so you should be able to find us very easily! Scroll down to see a map, and a little sketch of our table, so you know to look out for our Von Doogan and Long Gone Don banners, and that ole' red table cloth :)

So, we have a new policy on sketches at cons, they're still FREE, but for the sake of Lorenzo's hand we're now limiting it to ONE SKETCH per customer, so if you buy one or more of our books at THOUGHT BUBBLE this weekend, Lorenzo will do you a free A5 head sketch of one of our characters from one of the books you buy.

The exception to this rule will be that for families that attend who have several comic-loving children, they'll EACH get a sketch :)

How to THINK when you draw with PERSPECTIVE BOXES tutorial

There are many ways to approach developing your understanding of how to draw in PERSPECTIVE, and I want to cover one today which I think is really useful for getting your brain to start thinking instinctively about placing objects in space. The best part is, if you already have an understanding of perspective, it's a useful design tool, but if you have no understanding of perspective at all, it STILL WORKS! :) I recommend using this tutorial in conjunction with my How to THINK and DRAW in 3D guide.
